As our new Senior Finance Controller, you will be leading compliant and optimized financial reporting for Performance Units and statutory statements within the Newterra business unit, serving as the go-to expert for Finance Business Partners on all controlling and accounting matters while driving process improvements and leading external audit processes. What you will be doing

As a key part of the Newterra Finance team, you'll create impact by Driving financial compliance, process optimization, and reporting excellence that directly strengthens business decision-making across North America.

Your main responsibilities include:

  • Lead accurate monthly and year-end reporting according to Grundfos GAAP and statutory financial statements, including managing the statutory outsourcing partner relationship
  • Own balance sheets across segments and cost allocations between performance units, including accruals, wages, and pension schemes
  • Lead efficient and value-adding external audit processes with auditors and serve as main contact for local authorities and outsourcing partners
  • Challenge and drive harmonization, efficiency, and effectiveness of global finance controlling, statutory compliance, and internal control processes
  • Ensure an optimal control environment at legal entity level, including follow-up on internal control observations from GIAS
  • Drive optimization and cost effectiveness through standardized, automated, and simplified global finance processes

What makes you a great fit

Above all, you are a detail-oriented finance professional with deep SAP expertise, strong knowledge of accounting standards, and a proactive mindset for continuous process improvement — comfortable working independently while collaborating across a global organization. We would also imagine that you have:

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field with 5-7 years of corporate finance experience using SAP
  • In-depth knowledge of SAP software with intermediate Excel and Microsoft Suite proficiency
  • Strong knowledge of local and international accounting standards (GAAP) and corporate legal requirements for financial reporting
  • Experience managing defined finance processes, preferably in a large manufacturing environment

It is a plus if you also:

  • CPA or equivalent certification
  • Experience with BW/Analytic, TM1/Cognos, IBP, or IPMA/PMA systems
  • Experience leading external audit processes and statutory financial reporting and compliance
