Job Description

  • Manage a diverse portfolio of geotechnical projects across all life stages, from feasibility through to completion, locally and regionally
  • Conduct detailed geotechnical analyses, geological and geotechnical modeling, and comprehensive design solutions tailored to client needs
  • Ensure successful project delivery aligned with established schedules and budgets while maintaining the highest quality standards
  • Prepare compelling project proposals that drive innovative, practical, and sustainable outcomes for our valued clients
  • Undertake site investigations, supervise construction activities, and provide on-site inspection and support services
  • Prepare technical deliverables including detailed reports, design documentation, and project management documentation
  • Manage project financials and administrative tasks with precision and transparency
  • Participate actively in client management initiatives and support business development activities to drive organizational growth
  • Supervise, mentor, and support junior engineering staff, fostering a collaborative and inclusive team environment
  • Collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams to deliver integrated solutions that exceed client expectations
  • Stay current with industry best practices, emerging technologies, and regional regulatory requirements
  • Contribute to ongoing professional development through participation in team meetings, workshops, and training initiatives

Qualifications

 

  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related discipline from an accredited institution
  • 10+ years of professional experience in geotechnical engineering within consulting or industry sectors
  • Demonstrated expertise in project management for medium to large-scale projects with proven delivery success
  • Strong competence in detailed geotechnical design and analysis
  • Proficiency in geotechnical and geological modeling software and tools
  • Proven experience conducting site investigations and providing construction support services
  • Excellent technical report writing and documentation skills
  • Strong client management and stakeholder engagement capabilities
  • Demonstrated ability to supervise and mentor engineering staff effectively
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills across all organizational levels
  • Ability to analyze complex geotechnical challenges and develop practical risk-based solutions
  • Proven ability to work collaboratively in multidisciplinary team environments
  • Knowledge of relevant geotechnical standards, guidelines, and best practices
  • Willingness to travel to project sites as required
