Easygo is hiring a Senior HR Business Partner for a 12-month fixed-term maternity leave cover, onsite in Melbourne, to partner with leaders across Engineering, Product and Creative and drive people strategy in a fast moving tech environment. You’ll diagnose blockers, co-design data driven org design and workforce plans, and lead cyclical programs through centres of excellence while delivering practical, compliant employee relations and coaching leaders to handle issues themselves. From there, it's partnering with senior people leaders on org design, workforce planning and the structural calls that shape how divisions scale. The impact you’ll make:

Strategic Partnership

• Build deep business context for your portfolio and be a trusted advisor to leaders and their teams.
• Co-create people plans with your leaders, grounded in data, that set out the problems to solve and opportunities to chase.
• Partner on org design, workforce planning, performance and the structural and talent calls that support scale.
• Use data and insights to diagnose root causes, coach leaders and orchestrate delivery through the right centres of excellence.

Cyclical Program Execution

• Lead the delivery of cyclical people programs across your portfolio, so every area gets a consistent experience.
• Make cyclical programs count as real data and feedback loops, not compliance checkboxes.
• Work with centres of excellence to keep improving how these programs run.

Employee Relations & Leadership Enablement

• Give pragmatic guidance on ER matters, from performance management to separations, keeping outcomes fair and compliant.
• Coach leaders to handle people matters themselves, reducing day-to-day reliance on HR over time.
• Lead formal investigations and complex ER matters end to end.
• Spot patterns in ER activity and surface systemic risks to leadership with recommended fixes.

Your track record:

• Proven senior partnering experience, owning and delivering business outcomes through a people lens.
• A track record of coaching and influencing senior leaders, holding a position and landing tough messages without losing the relationship.
• Building and executing people plans grounded in data and measurable against commercial outcomes.
• Managing the full spectrum of ER matters, from performance management to complex separations, across Australian employment law.
• Leading cyclical people programs like performance cycles, remuneration reviews and workforce planning, on time and to a high standard.
• Strong commercial acumen and data literacy, talking business numbers first and turning workforce insights into a compelling story.

Bonus points if you also have:

• Experience across centres of excellence, knowing what TA, L&D, Reward, Talent, Work Ex, Internal Comms and People Ops do and how to orchestrate them.
• Experience supporting technical, product or professional services divisions in high-growth or scale-up environments.
• Familiarity with people tech platforms, engagement and performance tools.
• Tertiary qualification in HR, Business or a related discipline, or equivalent practical experience.
