Responsibilities:

  • Check or approve the Develop the main deliverables relevant to HVAC and issued by mechanical discipline: calculation reports, design criteria, technical specifications, mechanical data sheets, inspection data sheets, material requisitions and technical bid evaluations.
  • Support the Mechanical Engineers of the various project in reviewing Vendor documentation relevant to HVAC.
  • Perform design calculations of HVAC according to applicable codes in order to define main equipment sizing.
  • Define technical solutions for complex problems.
  • Propose optimization/changes in order to minimize quantity/costs or optimize project schedule.
  • Support Chief Engineers in reviewing Tender documentation and prepare clarification requests during bid phase.
  • Maintain and develop the specific know-how pertaining to HVAC.
  • Provide support and guidance to less experienced colleagues.
  • Promote transfer of knowledge through mentoring and training.

Skills and Qualifications:

  • Mechanical Engineering background.
  • Deep Knowledge of international codes, standards and best engineering practices for HVACDeep knowledge of HVAC calculation software.
  • Long-standing experience in HVAC Engineering in large EPC Oil&Gas;/Petrochemical/Energy projects (minimum 10 years).
  • Fluent written and spoken English.
  • Bachelor/Master Degree in Mechanical Engineering.
