They seek Senior and Intermediate Forestry Layout Technicians with knowledge of forest engineering, harvest planning, road layout and design, and silvicultural systems; must be physically fit, able to work outdoors, and proficient with maps, GPS, ArcGIS and Office; camp shifts required. FPBC registration (RPF, RFT, FIT, TFT) is an asset. Pay $31-$38 hourly plus gear, safety bonus, benefits, overtime, camp incentive, RRSP match. Qualifications:

• Knowledge of forest engineering and timber development, including harvest planning, road layout & design, and deflection line analysis. 
• Knowledge of Interior harvest & silvicultural systems.
• Physically fit and interested in working in outdoor climates year-round.
• Knowledge and understanding of navigational tools, maps, GPS surveys and applications, and general computer skills (MS Office, and ArcGIS).
• Must be able to work camp shifts.
• Registration with the FPBC as an RPF, RFT, FIT, TFT etc., would be an asset. 

Renumeration:

• Hourly compensation ranges from $31.00 - $38.00 depending on experience and designation.
