Qualifications:

 

  • Knowledge of forest engineering and timber development, including harvest planning, road layout & design, and deflection line analysis. 
  • Knowledge of Interior harvest & silvicultural systems.
  • Physically fit and interested in working in outdoor climates year-round.
  • Knowledge and understanding of navigational tools, maps, GPS surveys and applications, and general computer skills (MS Office, and ArcGIS).
  • Must be able to work camp shifts.
  • Registration with the FPBC as an RPF, RFT, FIT, TFT etc., would be an asset. 

Renumeration:

  • Hourly compensation ranges from $31.00 - $38.00 depending on experience and designation.
