Senior Investigator at Auckland Council is a full time onsite role focused on investigating serious non compliance in building, pollution and resource management, and bylaw breaches, with enforcement or education to achieve sustainable outcomes. You will research information, conduct site visits, and handle evidence under the Resource Management Act and Building Act. The ideal candidate brings at least five years in investigative regulatory roles, strong customer service and clear, confident communication, and proven PEACE interviewing and conflict resolution skills; leadership or mentoring ability is highly valued. A tertiary qualification in Environmental Science, Geography or Planning is beneficial but not essential, and a clean driver’s license is required. Salary $91,027 to $110,000 plus KiwiSaver.
