Role       : Senior Investment Advisor – Private Banking Coverage Advisory
Location : Dubai/Abu Dhabi                                                                                

Role Purpose:
This role involves collaborating with RMs across Private Banking coverage teams, ensuring the suitability of investment products, conducting regular portfolio reviews, and providing rebalancing recommendations based on the client’s risk appetite and time horizon. Drive sales quality and client satisfaction while maintaining adherence to regulatory requirements. 

 

Act as the Subject Matter Expert to support investment solutions and build portfolios that align with the bank's strategy, provide timely market insights, and position ADIB as a thought leader in the investment space.
    
Key Accountabilities of the role      

  1. Client Portfolio Management & Reviews:

    • Oversee and review client investment portfolios, ensuring that periodic reviews are conducted and documented to align with clients' risk profiles and objectives.

    • Provide guidance on wealth products, asset allocation, and investment strategies to support front line teams across Private Banking coverage teams, ensuring alignment with clients' long-term goals.

    • Recommend portfolio rebalancing strategies where necessary to ensure client portfolios remain in line with their evolving goals and market conditions.

    • Advise Relationship Managers on investment opportunities, client needs, and portfolio adjustments, based on market conditions and client profiles.

  2. Sales & Client Relationship Management:

    • Support Relationship Managers in managing and signing up NTW clients to support growth of UHNW and HNW client portfolios.

    • Responsible for securing and managing the Investment pipeline and playing an integral role in client fundraising/placement of investment offerings.

    • Contribute towards achieving the Wealth Management financial & promoting the Fee /recurring income generation

    • Provide guidance on asset allocation, investment strategies, and risk management, ensuring that investment are aligned with client objectives, risk tolerance, and time horizon.

    • Monitor client feedback and resolve any client-related issues promptly to maintain a high standard of service.

  3. Advisory Expertise:

    • Act as the Subject Matter Expert on model portfolios, advising on their construction, suitability, and ongoing management.

    • Stay current with market trends, investment products, and regulatory changes to maintain expertise and ensure the team provides up-to-date advice to clients.

    • Ensure adherence to all governance standards and policies applicable to Investment Advisory Team and suitability process.

    • Adherence to consumer protection regulations while client engagement.

  4. Market Updates and Outlook:
    • Provide regular, in-depth market updates and outlooks to clients and internal teams, keeping all stakeholders informed of market trends, economic conditions, and investment opportunities.
  5. Training & Development:

    • Provide the Relationship Managers with ongoing product training, market updates, and investment strategy guidance to enhance their ability to support clients effectively.

    • Regularly provide market insights, corporate actions summaries, and product updates to ensure the RMs are well-informed and can deliver appropriate solutions to clients.

 

Specialist Skills / Technical Knowledge Required for this role:
 

  • In-depth knowledge of investment products, financial markets, and wealth management strategies.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to engage effectively with clients and senior stakeholders.

  • Ability to analyze and interpret complex financial data and market trends.

  • Familiarity with regulatory requirements, particularly in the wealth management space, and a commitment to adhering to all relevant compliance standards.

  • Experience with discretionary portfolio management services is a plus, 

     

     

Previous experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business, Economics, or a related field 

  • Minimum of 4 to 7 years’ experience in wealth management, financial advisory, or portfolio management, role.
