  • Manage and keep oversight of the substantial Investment book in Emirati Segment of Certificate of Deposits, Fixed Income, Mutual Funds, Equities, and Structured Products. 
  • Engage with both prospective and existing clients on the investment offering of the bank.
  • Conduct investment account reviews for clients, to ensure that the investment holdings are consistent with their investment objectives. 
  • Conduct daily/weekly investment discussions with several bank units to ensure that they are well-informed on markets, the investment strategy, and investment solutions. 
  • Actively cooperate to create the area’s view in all matters related to investments and on how to turn them into marketable ideas for our clients.
  • Provide feedback based on customer interactions to further improve the Investment Offering to our clients.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders for views, ideas, and projects.
  • Be a role model for Relationship Managers and other stakeholders on investment governance and client centricity.
  • Support  Emirati Segment Investment business and proactively look to enhance our offering to the frontline and clients.

Have an impact due to his/her contribution to the business and the bank

  • The candidate must deliver customized solutions to Relationship Managers and/ or directly to the clients as requested based on the client risk profile and requirements.
  • The candidate should look to come up with strategies to enhance the coverage of adding new to investment clients to the investment base.
  • Provide support in the unit to achieve the prescribed objectives for Revenue, AUMs and New to Investment Targets.
  • Monitor, rebalance and restructure portfolios to generate higher levels of satisfaction from the clients.
  • Ensure that clients’ requests and requirements are addressed with the utmost transparency, and handle clients’ objections with the utmost care. 
  • Clear understanding of macroeconomic research and the ability to convert research inputs into actual investments.
  • Knowledge of financial markets, products, financial instruments, correlations, portfolio management theory.
  • Experience in investment advisory, financial markets, and economic analysis.
  • Thorough understanding of products and investment instruments.
  • Thorough knowledge of strategic and tactical asset allocation fundamentals.
  • Knowledge on risk profiling of clients with reference to choosing the right product for the right investor.
  • Preferred to have CFA / FRM/ CAIA Charter or pursuing the CFA/FRM/CAIA Program.
  • Minimum Bachelor’s Degree from a reputed institution.
  • Arabic speaker is a must.
