The ideal candidate has 8+ years in-house experience in commercial and corporate law, familiarity with Swiss corporate law, and strong risk management and communication skills; English is mandatory, German or other European languages a plus, engineering or construction experience preferred. Job Description

  • Support and oversee the Group’s corporate structure and governance activities across multiple jurisdictions.
  • Ensure Group companies comply with internal and external corporate governance requirements.
  • Maintain accurate corporate records and draft, review and file corporate documentation.
  • Develop and update corporate governance policies, Group policies and procedures.
  • Support M&A transactions and the post-acquisition integration of newly acquired entities.
  • Provide legal advice and contract support to departments including Sales, Business Development, Engineering, IT, HR, Finance and Procurement.
  • Advise and train directors and employees on corporate governance responsibilities and legal obligations.
  • Manage and guide paralegals, identify legal risks and prepare reports on the Group’s corporate activities.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Law; other relevant degrees or professional certifications are advantageous.
  • At least 8 years of in-house legal experience covering commercial law, corporate law and governance.
  • Experience within the engineering or construction industry is preferred.
  • Familiarity with Swiss corporate law, governance models and legal entity management tools is advantageous.
  • Fluent English is mandatory; German or other European languages are an advantage.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with excellent attention to detail and organisation.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to explain complex legal matters clearly.
  • Independent and collaborative working style, with strong leadership, relationship-building and risk-management capabilities.
