Core Responsibilities:

  • Lead analysis, identification and implementation of ERP applications aiming to derive the maximum value from services.
  • Determine the cost and benefit of new ERP approaches and represent findings for management approval. 
  • Manage the availability of secured applications and database backup with zero vulnerability and zero data loss.
  • Provide technical management to monitor changes in existing ERP applications and plan training for new services. 
  • Direct effective and efficient resolution of ERP issues and dive deep cases to understand root causes ensuring that technical solutions continue to meet business requirements.
  • Build strong relationship with stakeholders, understand needs and technical requirements, and oversee customer satisfaction measurements to improve current services.
  • Stay abreast of industry developments, potential updates and latest upgrades of Enterprise Applications services to develop cost-effective tools and technologies.
  • Responsible to answer all internal and external audit queries related to ERP applications and ensure to fill gaps.
  • Manage and monitor service desk service level agreements (SLAs) and performance.

People Management Responsibilities:

  • Provide strong and visionary leadership, supervision, and guidance to the team, setting clear expectations and creating a culture of accountability.
  • Be responsible for the resourcing and development of the team, including the preparation and coordination of service transition activities and make sure that the support team undertakes development to make sure they can advise on current issues.
  • Foster a culture of  continuous learning and development.
  • Ensure that the team has access to the necessary resources, including budget and technology, to support their projects.

Strategic Responsibilities:

  • Participate in building up enterprise applications department strategies.
  • Monitor department KPIs and provide timely reports for review and correction. 
  • Manage department budget and expenses related to ERP applications and look for areas where cost cutting is possible.

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field. Master's degree is a plus
  • IT Infrastructure Library (ITIL) certificate is highly desired.
  • Excellent English. Arabic is an added advantage
  • A minimum of 12-15 years of experience in a similar role
  • Experience in managing different IT Projects and multi-stream support groups.
  • Experience in enterprise system administration, implementation, and support.
  • Experience working with high available and scalable storge systems.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to troubleshoot complex system issues.
  • Project management skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities effectively.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Strong understanding of network architecture, protocols, and security.
