As a Senior Market Development Manager – Retail, you’ll play a pivotal role in driving the growth and visibility of GALLO brands within key retail accounts. You’ll bring sales and marketing strategies to life by partnering closely with distributor leadership and sales teams, ensuring strong execution of monthly programs, distribution objectives, and annual sales plans. Your work will directly influence performance in some of the most sophisticated and highest-value retail accounts in the market.
In this role, you’ll strategically plan your time and resources to focus on the greatest opportunities, recognizing that not all brands, distributors, or accounts require the same approach. You’ll coach, motivate, and develop distributor sales representatives and district managers, adapting your leadership style to close sales gaps, improve selling effectiveness, and elevate overall performance. By drawing on market insights, competitive intelligence, and performance data, you’ll help shape decisions that drive sustainable growth.
You’ll collaborate cross-functionally with shopper marketing, customer development, channel marketing, sales finance, and other winery partners to ensure seamless execution in the marketplace. Acting as a GALLO ambassador, you’ll advocate for our brands through account engagement, events, and community presence while reinforcing GALLO standards and values.
