Within the Integrated Marketing and Channel Performance business unit, the Sales Excellence team is a high-performing and high-visibility team that values diversity of thought and experience to stay connected with our customers and our business stakeholders. Our team is immersed in the development, governance and management of strategic forecasting and planning for channels across the entire TELUS Consumer Solutions organization. Our mandate includes budget setting and forecasting for both the wireless and wireline product portfolios, tracking and reporting on key financial and performance metrics, and supporting strategic programs with deep-dive insights . We also work closely with our Executive leadership team by communicating performance across various governance forums.

As Senior Market Intelligence Manager, you will have the opportunity to shape and influence our organizational performance across our sales channels by leveraging your strong analytical background, collaboration skills, and business acumen. You would be collaborating closely with Channels, Strategy & Planning, Marketing, and Finance teams in an extremely high-visibility capacity and would play a critical part in helping us keep our senior leadership informed about our business performance.


Here’s how

  • Own and manage KPIs, analyze data, find root causes, forecast performance, create reports and insights, present findings with leadership, make recommendations, explain the story behind the data and influence decisions
  • Drive analyses across teams and business units working closely with leadership teams 
  • Translate business questions and requirements into data analyses, while generating insights to support strategic initiatives
  • Transform our reporting, processes, and overall approach to channel performance
  • Effectively communicate with executive leadership and stakeholders providing them with regular updates on our business performance

 

Qualifications

You’re the missing piece of the puzzle

  • You have 5+ years of experience in Strategy, Finance or Marketing
  • You have experience answering business questions with data
  • You have very strong analytical skills and a passion for metrics and numbers 
  • You love digging into quantitative and qualitative data
  • You have technical expertise in SQL, GCP, Looker, and/or Tableau
  • You have a bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Engineering, Statistics, Computer Science or related field


Note: This is an individual contributor role, with the opportunity to lead, direct and manage team members for specific projects.
