€36,000 - €49,200 EUR yearly
Strukton Power is looking for a seasoned Senior Monteur to join its Enschede team on a full-time, onsite basis. The role sits at the heart of electrical installations for energy-infrastructure projects in the Netherlands, with the Senior Monteur serving as a key on-site contact who ensures work is safe, technically sound and delivered on schedule. This position is well suited to someone who thrives when working independently but also enjoys sharing expertise and supporting colleagues on complex projects.

The environment at Strukton Power is collegial and practical, focused on reliable and sustainable energy provision. You’ll work alongside a group of electricians, foremen and site managers, all aligned on safety first and quality outcomes. If you’ve got hands-on engineering experience, a calm, results-driven approach, and a passion for helping teams succeed on challenging electrical installations, you’ll fit right in.

On a typical day you’ll take the lead on intricate electrical mounting tasks, placing, wiring and testing equipment in line with the project’s plans and inspection criteria. You’ll keep a careful eye on progress, making sure work proceeds according to instructions and quality standards while tracking hours and material use. When the situation calls for it, you’ll perform on-site adjustments in collaboration with the client and the project team, and you’ll share your know-how to help less experienced colleagues apply the right techniques and processes.

- If you don’t live nearby, travel costs are reimbursed per kilometer
- Broad opportunities for training and career development

Advice for applicants

Start your resume with your mbo-level 3 Elektrotechniek qualification and three years of relevant hands-on experience, since that combination is a core filter for this role. Tie your summary to examples where you took ownership of complex installations, showing how you kept safety and quality at the forefront.

Show your must-have skills through concrete on-site stories. If you’ve coached or supported colleagues, describe a specific instance where your guidance improved the outcome of a project or a repair. Quantify results if you can, like time saved, quality improvements or reduced rework.

Prepare to talk about how you handle on-site challenges. The interviewer will want to hear how you verify plans against actual work, how you manage hours and materials, and how you coordinate with clients and supervisors when adjustments are needed. Have a precise example ready that demonstrates your independent work style while still collaborating effectively with a team.

Ask a thoughtful question that draws on the job specifics. For example, you could ask about how the team supports LEH certification progress or what the typical path looks like for advancing from senior technician to lead roles within Strukton Power, so you can map out your development plan.
