Hydro Extrusions in The Dalles seeks a Senior Operations and Support Repair and Maintenance (Electrical) to lead electrical and mechanical maintenance, PM, and CMMS. Install and modify equipment, troubleshoot electrical systems, and optimize performance with Temperature Controllers, PLCs, HMIs, and VFDs while upholding safety standards. Candidates hold a current Oregon Limited Maintenance Electrician license with the ability to obtain it within six months, about two years in manufacturing, and preferably a Journeyman license plus PLC/VFD and mechanical experience. What you will be doing

  • Execute mechanical maintenance tasks promptly to ensure uninterrupted production flow.
  • Conduct monitoring and preventative maintenance (PM/PDM) procedures to uphold equipment functionality.
  • Utilize CMMS system adeptly for comprehensive documentation of repairs and associated time.
  • Install new equipment and execute modifications on existing machinery proficiently.
  • Perform electrical troubleshooting and repair duties on production machinery, ensuring minimal downtime.
  • Conduct preventive maintenance (PMs) on electrical systems to preempt potential issues.
  • Demonstrate expertise in utilizing Temperature Controllers, PLC’s, HMI’s, and Frequency Drives for optimal equipment performance.
  • Take responsibility for the installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems, ensuring operational efficiency.
  • Adhere to pertinent state and federal regulations, codes, and ordinances, prioritizing safety protocols and regulations.

What will make you successful?

  • Current Oregon Electrical License (Limited Maintenance Electrician).
  • 2 years of previous experience in a manufacturing environment.
  • Must be able to obtain Oregon electrical license within 6 months.
  • Limited Journeyman Manufacturing Plant Electrician or General Journeyman Electrician (preferred).
  • PLC experience (preferred).
  • VFD experience (preferred).
  • Mechanical experience (preferred).
