Senior Overseer FM Electrical at Junee Correctional Centre blends leadership of a trades team with mentoring inmates to build work skills and support post release employment, while delivering safe, productive electrical work and contributing to Work Readiness Program reporting. The ideal candidate will hold a current Electrical Certificate III or higher, a valid NSW Electrical Licence, and either a Certificate III in Correctional Practice or be able to complete it within set timeframes; a NSW drivers licence and after‑hours on call readiness are required. The package includes around $105,046 per year plus allowances, 5 weeks annual leave, paid training and relocation options. Corrective Services Industries is currently seeking a qualified candidate and supervisor for the Senior Overseer role at Junee Correctional Centre.
What you’ll do
In this role you will provide leadership and mentoring to Overseers and supervise and develop inmates through managing, coaching, instructing, and encouraging them, as members of a team, in order that they may improve their work skills, enhance their post-release employment prospects, and contribute productively to Business Unit objectives.
