Your New Role

Are you an experienced delivery leader who thrives in fast-moving environments where governance, delivery practices and technology capabilities continue to evolve?

As Senior AI, Automation and Data Delivery Manager (internally, known as Senior Platform Delivery Manager) you'll play a key role within the AI & Automation team, leading the delivery of a broad pipeline of AI, Automation and Data initiatives from idea through to implementation and value realisation.

This role is not focused on implementing technology platforms. Instead, you'll focus on delivering the business use cases that leverage AI, Automation and Data technologies, working across a volume of concurrent initiatives delivered through rapid, iterative releases.

You'll help bring structure, transparency and discipline to a growing function, ensuring delivery activities are auditable, well governed and aligned to Disciplined Agile ways of working. We're looking for someone who understands what good delivery governance looks like, knows what should be documented and why, and can pragmatically apply those practices in an environment that is still maturing.

This role will suit someone who is comfortable wearing multiple hats, working across several concurrent squads and collaborating with stakeholders across business and technology functions to deliver outcomes at pace.

What You'll Do

• Lead the delivery of AI, Automation and Data use cases from prioritisation through to implementation and operational handover
• Facilitate prioritisation, planning, backlog management and delivery activities across multiple concurrent squads
• Partner with business, architecture, cloud, data and technology teams to assess feasibility, dependencies and delivery approaches
• Establish and maintain effective governance, reporting, decision logs, delivery controls and auditability
• Manage risks, issues, budgets, vendors, stakeholders and delivery dependencies across a complex portfolio
• Drive continuous improvement across delivery practices, transparency and value realisation

What You'll Need

• Extensive experience delivering AI, Automation, Data and Analytics or similar technology initiatives within medium to large organisations
• Highly knowledgeable with Microsoft technologies including Azure, Fabric, AI Foundry, their general availability and preview capabilities and related services 
• Strong project, program or platform delivery experience managing multiple concurrent workstreams
• Experience operating within regulated, auditable environments where governance and documentation are important
• Strong understanding of Agile delivery methodologies, ideally including Disciplined Agile
• Proven ability to balance governance, delivery pace and business outcomes in evolving environments
• Excellent stakeholder engagement, facilitation and communication skills
• Strong commercial, analytical and problem-solving capability
• High levels of initiative, resilience and energy, with a passion for improving how work gets delivered
