We’re seeking an experienced Product Development Engineer to join the Airvo Optiflow team. Our team’s responsibilities include the high-volume products we provide today as well as creating a pipeline of new development to enable growth in the nasal high flow space.
We are looking for a motivated engineer who is passionate about problem solving. Your excellent communication and collaboration skills will enable you to work both within the team and across various functions to deliver products from concept into the hands of our customers. In this role, you’ll be a key contributor to detailed product design, technical leadership, and mentoring others in the team.
About you
We are looking for applicants with over 7 years’ experience, preferably in medical devices, and a qualification in Mechanical Engineering or Product Design. You have experience with some or all the following:
New product development
Designing, machining and moulding prototypes
Injection moulding and other manufacturing methods
Fostering a culture of good DFM practices
Product testing and documentation
Medical device regulation
Detailed design and specification development
Cero skills will be highly advantageous
