Job Requirements
- Plans, controls, and executes projects they are assigned from initiation to launch, ensuring on-time, on-budget, and on-quality delivery
- Proactively works with all functions to effectively complete projects on-time, on-cost, and on-quality
- Manages risks, issues, and compliance across projects under their responsibility
- Resolves conflicts and effectively escalates topics appropriately on projects they manage
- Effectively communicates tasks, roles, expectations, and accountabilities to all team members on a regular basis
- Understands and utilizes best practices in project management
- Documents project lessons learned to foster continuous improvement
- Drive cross-team collaboration and support continuous improvement of Project Management methods and tools
- Supports different stages of the project management lifecycle, utilizing the tools and techniques to produce reports on project performance, budgets, and schedules
- Professionally manage change requests, including impact assessment, documentation, and approvals
- Provide clear, consistent project status updates to customers and internal stakeholders
What your background should look like
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business, or related field; Master’s preferred
- 7+ years of project management experience, ideally in automotive industry
- Strong leadership presence with experience leading technical projects
- Excellent communication skills, including customer-facing reporting and executive updates
- Skilled in stakeholder management, negotiation, and conflict resolution
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a solution-oriented mindset
- Ability to influence without authority in a international, cross-functional environment
- Resilient, adaptable, and comfortable in dynamic, technical settings
- Proficient in Project Management tools (e.g., MS Project, Planisware, SAP)
- PMP certification is a strong plus
