YOUR ROLE

As a Senior S&OP Planner, you will play a critical role in driving the short- to mid-term planning alignment across Marketing, Product, Demand Planning, Procurement, Supply Chain Operations, Production, and Logistics. Sitting within the Central Planning team and nested in the International Operations department, you will report directly to the Associate Director of S&OP.

In this role, you’ll generate clear insights that help markets make smarter, faster decisions — from fine-tuning delivery schedules to maximise ingredient quality whilst managing cost to highlighting underperforming SKUs for review. You’ll be the go-to partner for breaking bottlenecks, reducing costs, and ensuring our supply chain runs with precision.

You’ll also push consistency and best practice across markets, initiating forums like menu planning and supply-risk reviews and equipping them with the right tools and dashboards. By automating reporting and scaling data access through Tableau and Google Sheets, you’ll boost efficiency and transparency across the network.

Above all, you’ll act as both connector and innovator — strengthening collaboration across functions while embedding smarter processes that keep our planning cycles agile, data-driven, and tightly linked to business strategy.

YOUR AREA OF RESPONSIBILITY

  • Provide markets with analytical support to enable effective decision-making (e.g. SKU performance analysis, delivery schedule reviews, root-cause analysis of substitutions). Coach and guide stakeholders on how to use the insights to take the required action. 
  • Roll out best practices across markets by designing and facilitating standard forums and processes such as pre-menu planning cycle input and menu sign off forums, SKU risk reviews. 
  • Improve reporting infrastructure by automating KPI tracking, transforming manual Google Sheets into more automated solutions (e.g. Tableau dashboards or automated Google Sheets) to boost efficiency and data availability.
  • Serve as a cross-functional connector, ensuring alignment across Marketing, Product, Procurement, SCO, Production, and Logistics in the short- to mid-term planning horizon.
  • Contribute to the ongoing evolution of the HelloFresh S&OP planning model by embedding scalable processes and tools that strengthen operational resilience and readiness.

YOUR PROFILE

  • Ideally, you have at least 3-5  years of professional experience in a similar role
  • You have a university degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Economics, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.

Analytical & Technical Skills

  • Strong data analysis skills (ability to interpret large datasets and generate insights).
  • Strong proficiency in Google Sheets (pivot tables, advanced formulas, scenario modeling) and basic to advanced SQL capabilities
  • Familiarity with BI/reporting tools (e.g. Tableau).
  • Process design and documentation (ability to design scalable ways of working).

Planning & Supply Chain Knowledge

  • Experience with S&OP (Sales & Operations Planning) cycles and cross-functional alignment.
  • Understanding of supply chain metrics and concepts (OTIF, MOQ, capacity, waste).
  • Awareness of supply risk tracking and mitigation approaches.

Collaboration & Stakeholder Management

  • Ability to work cross-functionally across Marketing, Product, Strategic Procurement, SCO, Production and Logistics teams.
  • Clear communication of complex topics to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Stakeholder influencing and alignment across central and local teams.
  • Able to collaborate effectively with colleagues at all levels, from operations on the ground to Senior Leaders. 

Change Management & Integration

  • Ability to roll out best practices across diverse markets.
  • Change management skills to effectively coach and guide teams through new processes and ensure adoption.
