Netcompany is seeking a Senior Security Engineer for a freelance contract onsite in Strasbourg to design, implement and maintain cybersecurity solutions that protect government systems and critical infrastructure. You will integrate security controls with organizational policies, monitor events via SIEM tools like Splunk, identify and remediate vulnerabilities, harden systems across on premises, cloud and hybrid environments, and develop automation, documentation and risk assessments. To excel, bring 10+ years in cybersecurity with a relevant degree, strong knowledge of ISO 27001, NIS/NIS2, GDPR, and cryptography, plus expertise in TLS, SAML, OAuth, OpenID Connect, JWT, KMS, HSMs and network security. English required, French is a plus; emphasize SDLC security, scripting, and large-scale public sector projects.
