Essential:
Engineers at all levels should possess an academic qualification in Engineering or other related STEM subjects as well as specific (either academic or professional) qualifications and become recognised as Incorporated or Chartered Engineers through an appropriate recognised professional institution.
Engineers are encouraged, and will be supported, to achieve the relevant accreditation.
Preference will be given to candidates who are already professionally registered.

The Capability Development Insertion Group:
As a Software Acceptance and Delivery Lead in CDIG team, you will be required to perform various engineering activities, which may include observations/issues & configuration management, software release planning, budget management (including end of month reporting), target environment management, formal qualification & acceptance testing management and stakeholder engagement & collaboration.
Supporting various engineering activities to lead and ensure the delivery of engineering work and services to external and internal customers for multiple platforms under the supervision of the CDIG Engineering Manager.
CDIG, as it indicates, is responsible for any new capability insertion into the CMS-1 (as a product and INTeACT going forward) for example, new radars, unmanned Heli – some very recent examples. We start from bidding phase and take it through till disposal stage i.e. bid, estimate, contract award, SRR, PDR, CDR, development, implementation, integration, testing, acceptance, delivery, support, after support disposal.
An example is NRP – Naval Radar Replacement project, which is now coming to an end; we carried out from the beginning, few years ago.
So, we have multiple projects at different stages, and we work on them through out.
