You’ll join a cross functional team to design scalable backend services, improve code quality, and run fast experiments driven by data. The ideal candidate has 6+ years of software development, strong Java and Spring Boot, experience with distributed systems and asynchronous messaging, and a cloud DevOps mindset with solid CI/CD. The Central Services group is a strategic unit within Growth that develops and maintains foundational platform capabilities essential to GetYourGuide's global operations and customer experience.
This group drives efficiency and consistency across the business by centralizing critical technical services in three key areas: visual content optimization, localization and communications. By consolidating these fundamental services, the group enables GetYourGuide to deliver seamless, localized, and visually engaging experiences to travelers worldwide while empowering internal teams with robust, scalable solutions.
Your team - Communications Platform - will be in charge of developing and maintaining GetYourGuide's centralized communication infrastructure, ensuring seamless delivery of critical customer touchpoints across multiple channels. The team owns the technical foundation for all customer communications, including email, push notifications, SMs and emerging communication channels.
