Key responsibilities:
1. Warehouse Operations & Inventory Management
Supervise inbound and outbound goods, ensuring accurate receiving, storage, and dispatch processes.
Monitor inventory levels, conduct regular stock checks, and ensure proper documentation.
Maintain optimal organization of the warehouse, including storage, labeling, and accessibility of products.
2. Team Leadership & Performance Management
Lead, coach, and motivate warehouse associates to achieve operational targets and maintain high productivity.
Assign daily tasks, monitor performance, and provide timely feedback and training.
Foster a culture of teamwork, accountability, and continuous improvement within the distribution center.
3. Process Optimization & Operational Excellence
Identify inefficiencies in workflows and propose solutions to improve productivity and reduce errors.
Implement standard operating procedures (SOPs) and ensure compliance across all warehouse functions.
Monitor and maintain key operational metrics, including order accuracy, turnaround time, and stock handling efficiency.
4. Safety, Compliance & Risk Management
Ensure adherence to health, safety, and regulatory guidelines in all warehouse operations.
Conduct regular safety audits and risk assessments, taking corrective actions as needed.
Oversee proper handling of equipment, machinery, and hazardous materials, minimizing operational risks.
Qualifications & Skills
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent; diploma in Supply Chain, Logistics, or related field is a plus.
3-5 years of experience in warehouse or distribution center operations, preferably in fashion, retail, or FMCG.
Strong knowledge of inventory management, warehouse management systems (WMS), and stock control
procedures.
Proven leadership skills with experience managing teams of 10+ associates.
