MANTECH seeks a motivated, career and customer-oriented Senior Supply Supervisor to join our vehicle sustainment team in Waldmohr, Germany. The selected candidate will provide logistics support to multiple families of vehicles globally on the Allied Logistics Engineering Capabilities Sustainment (ALECS) program.

*Important Note*: Selected candidates require favorable completion and receipt of Technical Expert Status Accreditation (TESA) from the German Lander. TESA Approval Organization. Any stated date is an approximate projection based upon the eleven (11) week TESA review cycle. 

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Overseeing the efforts of less senior logistics staff and providing guidance to senior logistician staff.
  • Planning, directing or coordinating the operations of public or private sector organizations.
  • Formulating policies, managing daily operations, and planning the use of materials and human resources.
  • Instructing, managing and supervising personnel concerning supply systems policy and functional procedures.
  • performs all functional duties independently. Provides leadership and management for all assigned supply clerks. Analyzes and coordinates the supply functions of a firm or organization. Responsible for the entire life cycle of supply, including packing, shipping, receiving, transportation of parts, items and equipment, as well as warehouse and containerized storage management. Record, maintain and initiate work order documentation for acquisition of component items from vendors. Ability to work independently with minimal supervision or guidance.
  • Performing other related duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • 9+ years of qualified experience and a bachelor’s degree in a related field (OR) 15+ years of experience.
  • One year experience in the use of Enterprise Logistics Management System (ELMS), GCSS-A or DOD equivalent to ensure military supply system proficiency and managing inventory and maintenance records without requiring basic software training.
  • Experience in inventory and requisition supplies, maintaining stock of supplies and equipment, operating material and handling equipment.
  • Experience in recording, maintaining and initiating work order documentation for acquisition of component items from vendors.
  • Experience in warehouse and containerized storage management (packing, shipping, receiving, transportation of parts, items and equipment).
  • Ability to successfully pass a Pre-Employment Drug Screening; must possess a Valid Driver’s License for the location in which the work will be performed, a High School Diploma or GED, and a Passport valid for at least one year beyond the start date.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Familiarity with military or commercial logistics supply system as well as automated and manual supply systems and equipment serviceability standards and criteria.
  • Knowledge of Federal shipping and logistic regulations.

Clearance Requirements:

  • Must be a US citizen and have a current/active Secret clearance.

Physical Requirements:

  • Must be able to balance, bend, carry, crouch, stretch and kneel.
  • Must be able to push, pull, and reach.
  • Must be able to work in high noise areas.
  • Must be able to lift 50lbs and small parts.
  • Must be able to work with computers and CRTs, and type on a computer keyboard.
