Job Description

We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Senior Technician - Digital Delivery to join our organization in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. In this role, you will be responsible for managing and optimizing our digital delivery infrastructure, ensuring seamless technical operations, and providing expert-level support to maintain system performance and reliability. You will work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to implement solutions, resolve complex technical issues, and drive continuous improvement in our digital service delivery.

.Roles & Responsibilities

  • Develop electrical dry utilities designs including power distribution, street lighting, telecom, and ELV systems in accordance with local authority standards (e.g., DEWA, Etisalat, etc.).
  • Prepare design drawings, calculations, load schedules, and technical reports.
  • Ensure designs comply with codes, regulations, and project specifications.
  • Perform design coordination with civil, architectural, and other MEP disciplines.
  • Create and maintain accurate 3D BIM models for electrical dry utilities using software such as Revit, Civil 3D, or similar.
  • Ensure BIM models meet LOD requirements and BIM execution plans (BEP).
  • Conduct clash detection and resolve coordination issues using tools like Navisworks.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure integrated project delivery.
  • Maintain proper documentation and version control of BIM models and design files.
  • Ensure all submissions meet authority guidelines and requirements.
  • Address authority review comments and update designs accordingly.
  • Ensure adherence to company BIM standards, CAD standards, and QA/QC procedures.
  • Conduct internal reviews of models and drawings for accuracy and completeness.
  • Maintain consistency across all project deliverables.
  • Participate in project meetings, coordination workshops, and technical discussions.
  • Provide technical support during construction and site coordination.
  • Assist in resolving site issues and design discrepancies.
  • Support the improvement and streamlining of design workflows and BIM processes.
  • Contribute to the development of BIM standards, templates, and libraries.
  • Stay updated with latest BIM technologies and engineering practices.

 

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of experience in technical support, IT operations, or digital infrastructure management
  • Proven expertise in digital delivery platforms and technologies
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to diagnose and resolve complex technical issues
  • Proficiency with IT service management (ITSM) tools and ticketing systems
  • Solid understanding of network architecture, cloud platforms, and system infrastructure
  • Experience with automation tools and scripting for operational efficiency
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills
  • Strong technical documentation and communication abilities
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment
  • Experience with vendor management and service level agreement (SLA) monitoring
  • Preferred: Advanced technical certifications (CompTIA, Cisco, AWS, or equivalent)
  • Preferred: Experience with infrastructure-as-code (IaC) tools and DevOps practices
  • Preferred: Leadership or mentoring experience with technical teams
