Royal London is seeking a Senior Test Analyst in Edinburgh for a permanent hybrid role, joining a squad delivering digital features. You will plan, estimate, carry out static testing, perform technical analysis, prepare automated and manual test cases and report on quality while helping evolve the automation strategy and influence how we test in the future. This is a collaborative position working with other Testers, Engineers, Analysts and Stakeholders to deliver high quality solutions for the applications owned by your squad. The role requires strong communication, hands on test automation using Playwright ReadyAPI Cucumber WebDriver IO or similar tools, experience in .NET and SQL, and proficiency with Azure DevOps. You should be a proactive problem solver capable of managing your own workload and mentoring Trainees. Royal London has an exciting opportunity for a Senior Test Analyst. The successful candidate will join one of our Squads developing new features and improvements within the Digital area.

About this role

In this role, you will plan, estimate, carry out static testing, technical analysis, prepare automated and manual test cases and report on Quality.

You will help us on our journey to move testing forward by utilising and reviewing our existing automation approach and influencing how we test in future. 

This is a collaborative role working with other Testers, Engineers, Analysts and Stakeholders to deliver high quality solutions for the Applications owned by your Squad.  

About you

• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
• Test Automation Skills.  Experience of Playwright, ReadyAPI, Cucumber/WebDriver IO or other automation tools.
• Experience working in a .net and SQL environment.

• Proven track record of testing techniques and tools.
• Proficient in utilising Azure DevOps.
• Problem solver with a motivation to grow skills and improve how we test.
• Ability to manage own workload and provide approach and estimates for testing.
• Ability to mentor Trainees and Test Analysts.
