AbCellera is seeking a Senior Utilities Technician to join the Engineering Asset Management team in Vancouver, onsite, full time. Based in a new GMP facility, you’ll support operation and maintenance of critical utilities and collaborate with manufacturing operations, process engineering and quality teams. Your day to day will include assisting the Chief Boiler Power Engineer, monitoring boilers, chillers, AHUs, water for injection, compressed air and clean gases, tracking alarms in the building management system, executing CMMS work orders, performing shutdowns and restarts, troubleshooting interfacing equipment, and recommending improvements. Requirements include 3+ years in a manufacturing plant operation or similar field plus a Bachelor’s degree; a Technical Safety BC Class V Power Engineering certificate is desirable but not required, and GMP clean utilities experience is a plus. Compensation ranges from 67,247 to 82,000 CAD plus equity, annual bonus and a 6 percent RRSP contribution, plus a CAD 1,500 annual Active Lifestyle Allowance, vacation, professional development and benefits. AbCellera’s hiring range for this role is $67,247 - $82,000 annually, commensurate with your education and job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. In addition to base salary, we offer equity, annual bonus dependent on team and company performance, and a 6% (non-match) RRSP contribution.
