Onsite in Abu Dhabi, full time. Job Purpose:
 
•Lead the development and execution of Aldar Development’s Commercial strategy, ensuring full alignment with the company’s broader objectives and long-term goals.
•Establish a data-driven culture within Commercial, spearheading analytics and BI to inform decision-making, performance monitoring, and strategic planning.
•Serve as the key strategic partner to the Chief Commercial Officer, translating market intelligence and performance data into actionable business strategies.
 
Job Responsibilities:
 

Strategy Development & Execution

•Develop and lead Aldar Development’s overall Commercial strategy, integrating inputs across Sales, CX, Marketing, and Operations.
•Cascade the Commercial strategy to all business units, ensuring alignment and assisting in developing departmental scorecards and strategic initiatives.
•Lead strategic planning processes including market assessments, financial modelling, and competitive analysis.
•Drive digital transformation and innovation initiatives within the Commercial function.
•Act as primary contact for senior leadership on commercial strategy, performance, and operational improvements.

Data Analysis & Performance Monitoring

•Establish and maintain a robust data analytics and business intelligence capability across Commercial.
•Oversee commercial forecasting, providing accurate revenue projections, budgets, and scenario planning.
•Ensure availability, accuracy, and timeliness of data, dashboards, and performance reports for commercial leadership.
•Monitor market trends, competitive dynamics, and macroeconomic conditions to identify opportunities and risks.
•Champion the use of BI tools (Tableau, Power BI, CRM analytics) across the function.

Reporting & Stakeholder Management

•Prepare and present regular commercial performance reports and strategic insights to the CCO and senior leadership.
•Track key financial and non-financial KPIs including revenue performance, NPS, and sales efficiency.
•Ensure Commercial activities operate within budget while maximizing ROI.
Partner with Group Strategy on consolidated reporting, target-setting, and manpower planning.
 
Years of Experience:
 
•Min 12+ years of strategy and analytics experience in a large multinational company, real estate firm, or top-tier management consultancy. Deep expertise in strategy deployment frameworks and GCC real estate market dynamics.

YoE in Managerial Position

•Min 4+ years of managerial experience leading strategy and analytics teams.

Field of Experience

•Management Consulting / Real Estate / Strategy. Strong GCC market knowledge essential.

Technical and Interpersonal Skills

•Expertise in strategy development and balanced scorecard frameworks.
•Advanced data analytics and BI skills (Tableau, Power BI, SQL, CRM platforms).
•Strong financial modelling and commercial forecasting capabilities.
•Excellent communication and executive presentation skills.
•Ability to manage multiple strategic workstreams in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Business, Economics, or a related field. Master’s degree / MBA strongly preferred
