About the Role


As Service Assistant Manager, you will play a key role in supporting the Service Manager and ensuring the smooth day‑to‑day operation of the service department. You will help drive performance, maintain high customer satisfaction and support the service team to achieve their goals.
Your key responsibilities will include:
• Assisting with daily service department operations
• Supporting and mentoring service advisors and technicians
• Managing customer inquiries and resolving escalations
• Ensuring service KPIs, productivity and quality standards are met
• Coordinating workflow and vehicle scheduling
• Maintaining manufacturer and dealership processes
• Supporting reporting, administration and compliance

 

 

About You


You are an experienced automotive professional with strong leadership capability and a customer‑first mindset. You are organised, proactive and confident stepping into a management support role.
You will bring:
• Previous experience in an automotive service environment
• Leadership or senior advisor experience preferred
• Strong customer service and communication skills
• Ability to support, coach and motivate a team
• Good organisational and problem‑solving skills
• A current driver licence
