We are now looking for a Propulsion Coordinator to join our dynamic Field Services Operations team in Dubai.

 

Your main tasks and responsibilities :

As a Propulsion Coordinator, you will play a key role in coordinating service activities related to our propulsion products and installed base. You will ensure that field service works are planned, executed, and followed up with a focus on quality, safety, and customer satisfaction. Your responsibilities will include:

· Coordinating and planning field service jobs and projects for propulsion products, ensuring high-quality job preparation and execution.

· Maintaining an overview of spare parts required for service jobs and coordinating deliveries to ensure timely availability.

· Monitoring and controlling the execution of field service works to ensure timely completion within agreed budgets and strategies.

· Supporting cross-functional teams, especially FS Resources and Sales Support, to ensure seamless service delivery.

· Contributing to the development of HSE processes, tools, and competencies to meet Wärtsilä’s standards and stakeholder expectations.

· Reviewing service reports and ensuring timely, professional follow-up on all actions and customer feedback.

· Managing customer enquiries related to propulsion service, providing clear communication and solutions.

· Promoting close collaboration with Account Managers, Sales Support, and Spare Parts teams to deliver the best possible customer experience.

· Identifying and implementing improvements in service delivery and cost efficiency.

· Participating in customer site visits and communicating effectively with on-site teams and stakeholders.

 

What do we expect from you?

· Technical background with experience in propulsion products and marine operations is highly desirable.

· Previous experience as a Field Service Engineer, Service Coordinator, or in project coordination/management within the marine industry is preferred.

· Strong customer focus and ability to communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders.

· Structured, organized, and self-motivated with attention to detail and a proactive approach.

· Recognized engineering qualification or equivalent experience.

· Willingness and ability to travel within the UAE and internationally as required.

· Good command of English (oral and written); knowledge of Arabic is an advantage.

· Proficiency with MS Office tools; experience with SAP is a plus.

· Healthy Work In Progress (WIP)

· Time To Invoice (TTI)

· Margin Deviation (Planned vs Actual)

· Invoice Disputes (Credit notes due to incorrect invoicing)

· Process Adherence (NCR)

· Other KPIs set by Regional FS Operations
