He kōrero mō te tūranga | The Role

This role will provide you with the opportunity to use your coaching and mentoring experience to support your team to strive and achieve high performance in all aspects of their practice and deliver positive client outcomes. Maintain a high quality of service delivery and identify opportunities for improvement. You will utilise your strong communication skills to build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, and engage with community networks and other agencies.

What you will need to have:

• Tertiary level qualification in management and or social services

• 3 to 5 years of work experience in leading a team is essential

• In-depth knowledge of Health & Disability Services standards

• Data analysis and accurate reporting and benchmarking skills

• Ability to role model best practices and to identify opportunities for improvement

• Knowledge of relevant agencies and services providing community support

• Commitment and ability to apply the principles of Te Tiriti o Waitangi

• Ideally, you will have some proficiency in Te Reo Māori and knowledge of tikanga Māori
