AA New Zealand is seeking a Service Officer in Dunedin to join our Roadservice Heroes, delivering expert roadside assistance with a rotating seven-day schedule. You’ll diagnose issues on site, provide safe, practical fixes, and transform stressful breakdowns into positive experiences for Members. What matters most: a Level 4 Automotive Trade Qualification (or equivalent), strong diagnostic ability, a clean NZ Driver Licence, comfort using tablets and in-vehicle tech, and clear, empathetic communication with a safety-first mindset. Independent work complemented by a collaborative team, plus representing the AA with integrity. Even if you don’t tick every box, apply and let’s korero; we offer benefits like free membership, wellbeing leave, and career development.

To succeed in this role, you’ll bring:
If you enjoy the freedom of working independently while still being part of a supportive team, this could be the career move you’ve been looking for. You’ll join a trusted and respected organisation where your skills, experience and contribution are valued - and where every day gives you the opportunity to help someone when it matters most.
What We Offer | Ngā āhuatanga kei a mātou
Here, we offer a lot more than roadside assistance. We're constantly evolving and advancing into new businesses, offering new challenges and a range of opportunities.
