We are seeking an A-Grade Electrician to join our Service business, to service Automatic and Industrial doors. This position will mainly involve breakdowns and some major works to Industrial Doors and Specialty Products. You may also be required to provide support to other dormakaba product in the form of Commissioning & Installation of products.
To contribute to the ongoing success of maintaining our renowned reputation for our products, we offer a 24/7 service to our customers. As a result of this commitment to our customers, there will be a requirement for you to be on an after-hours on call roster on a rotational basis.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
· Deliver high-quality servicing and support for customer equipment, ensuring reliability and satisfaction with every job you complete.
· Keep accurate records and manage your parts and consumables like a pro – staying organised and efficient is key to your success.
· Be the link between service and sales teams by sharing valuable customer insights, identifying opportunities, and helping us grow stronger relationships.
· Prioritise safety at all times by following procedures, using PPE correctly, and maintaining a safe environment for yourself, your team, and our customers.
· Play a vital role in our success by achieving service targets, managing material usage wisely, capturing accurate data, and reporting any hazards or incidents promptly.

· A valid driver’s licence – you'll be on the move across our sites
· Current A-Grade Electrical Licence
· Electrical Contractors Licence (preferred or willing to obtain)
· Solid fault-finding skills with a strong electrical and/or mechanical background
· Confident communicator with strong interpersonal skills
· Self-motivated and able to work independently with minimal supervision
· Availability to work across our Northside locations
