Wellington Correctional Centre is a large facility that accommodates maximum, medium, and minimum security sentenced and unsentenced male and female inmates. Through tailored Service delivery and the delivery of accredited group programs in correctional centres, you’ll play a vital role in reducing re-offending and creating safer communities. What you’ll do
As a Service and Programs Officer, you’ll play a vital role in transforming lives and creating safer communities. Your day-to-day work will be dynamic and impactful. As a valued member of our dedicated Service Integration team, you will:
support offenders and remandees on their rehabilitation journey through assessment, case management, crisis intervention, and the delivery of accredited group programs. You'll also contribute to intake screening, offender induction, health promotion initiatives, pre-release planning, and referrals to community support services.
Working as part of a collaborative multidisciplinary team in a dynamic correctional environment, you'll help individuals make positive changes, reduce re-offending, and support safer communities.
