Amsterdam Marriott Hotel is hiring Shift Engineer to repair and maintain equipment, implement preventive maintenance, and handle plumbing, electrical and ventilation work while ensuring health and safety across the property. The ideal candidate speaks English with basic Dutch, has experience in mechanics, plumbing and air conditioning, and prior hotel maintenance experience, and is willing to work mornings, evenings and weekends. In return you’ll receive €2725,03 per month plus a benefits package including Marriott hotel discounts, gym access, travel allowance and 25 paid vacation days. Our luxury hotel, located across from Leidseplein's fine dining, shopping and entertainment, is a 5-minute walk to many attractions including the Rijksmuseum and Van Gogh Museum. What are your responsibilities?
- Repairing and maintaining all equipment and tools
- Building preventive maintenance
- Plumbing, electrical and ventilation works
- Ensuring the hotel meets it’s health and safety requirements
What makes you the perfect fit?
To be eligible for this position:
- You can speak English as well as understand basic Dutch;
- You have previous experience in mechanics, plumbing and air-conditioning;
- You have previous hotel maintenance experience;
- You are willing to work mornings, evenings and weekends.
