Your Role:

 

As a Shipping Associate based in The Woodlands, Texas, you will ensure customer orders are accurately processed, packaged, and shipped in a timely, quality-conscious manner. This hands-on role involves performing vital quality control and order coherence checks, executing shipping tasks according to the production schedule, and closing out daily operations. You will handle a diverse range of domestic and international shipments—including aliquots, DNA, RNA, outsourced orders, and miscellaneous materials—while occasionally providing training and guidance to new team members

Responsibilities include the following:

 

  • Label products accurately, making sure all quality and quantity requirements are spot-on
  • Package domestic and international shipments securely to protect products from any damage during transit
  • Ship orders on time while following customer preferences and keeping up with federal, state, and carrier rules
  • Correctly file all required agency paperwork, including commercial invoices, SEDs, TSCA forms, and tariff codes
  • Own your daily responsibilities by meeting deadlines, keeping error rates low, staying safe, and chipping in on team meetings and projects
  • Keep other teams in the loop by following up with production and customer service on any order inquiries or issues
  • Maintain high quality standards and always keep safety top of mind while working
  • Collaborate with the team on CAPA closures to help troubleshoot issues and prevent them from happening again
  • Hours: 12:00 PM - 8:30 PM, Mon - Fri

 

Physical Attributes:

 

  • Wear all personal protective equipment (PPE) as directed by procedure
  • Lifting up to 40lbs, twisting, bending, stooping, sitting, walking, pushing and/or pulling

 

Who You Are

 

Minimum Qualifications:

 

  • High school diploma or GED
  • 1+ year of administrative or shipping/distribution experience

 

Preferred Qualifications:

 

  • 1+ year of work experience in administration, shipping or logistics
  • Excellent communication and people skills
  • Computer skills: MS Office, MS Excel, SAP (a plus); Knowledge of various carrier computers

 

Pay Range for this position - $21.00 - $35.00/Hour 

The offer range represents the anticipated low and high end of the base pay compensation for this position. The actual compensation offered will be determined by factors such as location, level of experience, education, skills, and other job-related factors.
