We have an immediate opening for a 1st shift Shipping Clerk to join our diverse team in Easley, SC. The Shipping Clerk will execute a variety of tasks following standard procedures, including completing shipping documents, packing, labeling, addressing, and loading shipments using the appropriate shipping methods. This role supports daily operations within the Shipping/Receiving department, serving as the primary contact for all export shipments and managing all booking procedures. Additionally, the Shipping Clerk will handle all shipping documentation inquiries. This position operates Monday through Friday from 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM, with opportunities for overtime.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Receive raw materials and other purchased goods, review packing slip for proper quantities and submit for proper documentation processing.
• Deliver goods to proper locations after completion of the receiving process. Operate various workstations to process outbound shipments.  Complete all required transactions in SAP.
• Complete shipping papers correctly, including export documents.  Recognize unusual conditions and report to the appropriate Supervisor and/or Lead.
• Operate forklift, load, and unload trucks for best methods of shipment.  Become cross trained to perform many types of tasks. May be required to perform other duties as required by Supervisor.
• Must practice excellent housekeeping skills and maintain equipment. Adhere to all Safety procedure

What We're Looking For

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Good verbal and written communication skills.
• Must have 3-5 years of Logistics experience.
• Basic math skills. Proficiency with computer inquiries and transactions. Work well in teams. Must be able to climb, bend, reach, and lift 50lbs.
• Must be proficient in using an SAP/ERP system.
