Job Description

We are seeking a reliable and organised Shopfloor Team Member to join our warehouse operations at The Warehouse in Taupō, New Zealand. This is a casual position offering flexible working arrangements. The successful candidate will play a vital role in ensuring our shopfloor runs smoothly and efficiently, supporting our team in delivering excellent service to our customers. You will be detail-oriented, efficient, and committed to maintaining high standards of health and safety in a fast-paced warehouse environment. • Receive, unload, and process incoming stock and merchandise with accuracy and care • Organise and store products in designated areas, ensuring proper labelling and inventory control • Pick and pack customer orders efficiently and accurately

  • Maintain a clean, safe, and organised shopfloor environment at all times • Operate warehouse equipment safely, including trolleys and lifting equipment where appropriate • Conduct regular stock checks and report discrepancies to management
  • Follow all health and safety procedures and company policies • Support team members and collaborate effectively to meet daily targets • Assist with stock rotation and ensure products are displayed according to company standards • Report any damage, safety hazards, or operational issues promptly

      This is a casual role with no fixed hours of working.

Qualifications

  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy in all tasks • Excellent time keeping and reliability • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced warehouse environment • Good people skills and ability to work collaboratively as part of a team • Physical capability to lift, carry, and move stock regularly • Basic numeracy skills for inventory and stock management
  • Willingness to follow procedures and company policies • Desirable: Previous warehouse or shopfloor experience • Desirable: Forklift licence or willingness to obtain certification • Desirable: Knowledge of health and safety practices in warehouse environments • Desirable: Experience with inventory management systems
