As a Site Engineer, you'll play a key role in supporting the successful delivery of paving projects from planning through to completion. This is a hands-on role that combines time on site with project coordination, working closely with crews, supervisors, and project managers to ensure work is delivered safely, efficiently, and to specification.
You'll help drive quality outcomes, manage project requirements, and keep operations running smoothly, making a direct contribution to the success of our paving programme and our customers' expectations.

Coordinate site set-up, work planning, and resource requirements to support the successful delivery of paving projects.
Support project delivery by translating plans, specifications, and project requirements into clear work instructions for crews.
Monitor quality and compliance to ensure paving works are completed safely and to specification.
Collaborate with project managers, supervisors, and operational teams to keep projects on track and achieve programme targets.
Identify opportunities to improve safety, productivity, and project outcomes while maintaining high operational standards.
Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry standards, legislation, and best practices relevant to paving operations.

Bachelor or Diploma in Civil Engineering (or equivalent) from a recognised tertiary institution.
12–24 months' experience in an engineering role within the construction, paving, or civil infrastructure industry.
Knowledge of engineering principles and construction practices, with the ability to apply them in a practical site environment.
Understanding of project management principles and the successful delivery of works programmes.
Full Class 1 Driver Licence.
Strong planning, problem-solving, and organisational skills, with the ability to think ahead and prioritise effectively.
A collaborative approach, with the confidence to build positive working relationships across crews, supervisors, and project teams.
A commitment to safety, quality, and continuous improvement, with a proactive and can-do attitude.
