Job Description

  • Collaborate with the project team to develop mechanical designs for construction projects.
  • Ensure compliance with local building codes, regulations, and standards.
  • Perform site assessments to gather data for project planning and execution.
  • Design and oversee the installation of HVAC systems in construction projects.
  • Conduct thermal and energy efficiency analyses for HVAC systems.
  • Collaborate with contractors and subcontractors to ensure quality installation.
  • Coordinate the integration of mechanical systems with other disciplines such as electrical and plumbing.
  • Provide technical support during the construction phase to resolve mechanical engineering issues.
  • Develop project timelines and milestones related to mechanical engineering tasks.
  • Monitor project progress and ensure adherence to deadlines and budget constraints.
  • Work closely with project managers to address any engineering-related challenges.
  • Conduct quality control checks on mechanical systems installations.
  • Perform inspections to ensure compliance with engineering specifications and standards.
  • Prepare and maintain detailed engineering documentation, including drawings and specifications.
  • Generate reports on project progress, challenges, and solutions.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
  • Proven experience in mechanical engineering within the construction industry, preferably in the UAE.
  • Proficient in AutoCAD, Revit, and other relevant engineering software.
  • Knowledge of local building codes and regulations.
  • Strong project management skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
