Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 1 year of experience with data structures and algorithms.
  • 1 year of experience with building and developing large-scale infrastructure or distributed systems.
  • 1 year of experience with software development in C++.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Master's degree or PhD in Computer Science or a related technical field.
  • Experience in developing accessible technologies.
  • Experience in back-end coding languages such as GOLang, Rust, or Java.
  • Experience in Machine Learning (ML) model coding languages (e.g., Python).

Responsibilities

  • Build machine learning infrastructure for large-scale model training and evaluation.
  • Provide horizontal workflows for product change management with easy-to-use developer Application Programming Interface (APIs).
  • Improve and maintain the infrastructure for smooth operation.
  • Create developer-facing tools, metrics and processes for a quality developer experience.
  • Re-design the platform for Gemini for Home.
