Responsibilities

• Work will focus on ensuring the quality, consistency, and scale necessary to power success for teams across YouTube.
• Develop and implement robust monitoring, alerting, and data validation strategies across our distributed systems to ensure the delivery of consistent, reliable, and high-quality metric data. Build and augment fault-tolerant systems.
• Contribute to the development and enhancement of the YouTube Metrics Aggregator (YTMAgg), our innovative platform for large-scale, real-time metric aggregation.
• Drive the evolution of how YouTube's key user-facing metrics are computed, adapting to new viewing experiences and products.
• Manage and optimize the processing of billions of daily events, ensuring efficient and scalable solutions for batch and streaming data pipelines, utilizing key internal infrastructure such as BigTable, Flume.
