Responsibilities
As a Software Engineer on the YouTube Content Management System team, you will design, build, evolve, and maintain the critical systems that facilitate the interactions between YouTube and all major media companies worldwide.
- Designing and implementing global-scale systems: Work with dozens of teams across YouTube to architect and evolve the storage, indexing and serving infrastructure for YouTube’s global copyright database of billions of assets and copyright claims.
- Pushing Boundaries: Lead the integration of agentic tools to automate complex investigations and data reconciliation.
- Domain Mastery: Developing deep domain expertise is a core requirement of this role, as the copyright landscape is complex and rapidly evolving, driven by advancements in Generative AI and shifts in regulatory frameworks.
