Google is seeking a Software Engineer III, GenAI Safety, in Zurich on-site, full-time, to join the DeepMind Abuse team and help protect GenAI products from misuse. You’ll design and scale account-centric abuse detection components within the GenAI Safety Platform, build near real‑time classifiers from account signals, and collaborate to connect detection with enforcement actions. A CS degree or equivalent plus two years of software development experience (or one year with an advanced degree) in Python, C++, Go, or Java, and ML/AI experience are required; preferred are large-scale data pipelines, anti‑abuse or security experience, and AI driven development.
