Role summary
Bombardier is seeking a Solution Architect specializing in PLM (Product Lifecycle Management) Teamcenter to lead the design and evolution of enterprise-grade solutions supporting Engineering and Product Development.
You will act as the technical authority for Teamcenter, ensuring scalable, secure, and integrated solutions aligned with Bombardier’s digital engineering roadmap.
What are your contributions to the team?
- Define end-to-end engineering-related solution architectures leveraging Teamcenter PLM (core platform, integrations, extensions)
- Lead design of integrations with PLM/CAD/PCR/CAM tools (e.g., CATIA, NX), ERP, and supplier collaboration platforms
- Ensure alignment with Enterprise Architecture standards, cybersecurity, and cloud strategies
- Support the evolution of Teamcenter as Bombardier’s enterprise PLM platform
- Govern data models, configuration, and lifecycle management practices
- Provide oversight during implementation with internal teams and external partners
- Present and defend solutions at Architecture Review Boards (ARB / DARB)
How to thrive in this role?
- You hold a bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent
- You have 15+ years of IT experience, including Solution Architecture roles
- You have strong experience with Teamcenter PLM or similar enterprise PLM platforms
- You have experience in engineering/product development environments
- You have technical expertise in Teamcenter architecture, configuration, and integrations, CAD/PLM ecosystem (e.g., CATIA integration), Cloud and integration patterns (APIs, middleware), and engineering data management (BOM, change management, configuration control)
- TOGAF or equivalent architecture certification is considered an asset
- Experience with large-scale PLM transformations is considered an asset
The base salary for this position is expected to range from CAD $XX,XXX to CAD $XX,XXX per year. The applicable base salary will be determined based on various criteria, at Bombardier’s sole discretion, such as the candidate’s skills, experience and qualifications.
In some cases, the base salary offered may differ from the expected range of base salary listed above.
