In house recruitment; tailor your application to show ROI and world ops impact.
Safer Storage Systems (SSS), a leading Australian warehouse solutions provider and local pallet racking manufacturer, has been acquired by Element Logic®, the first and largest AutoStore® partner worldwide and warehouse automation technology provider. SSS Joins Element Logic
At Element Logic, we don’t just automate warehouses - we optimize warehouse performance. By combining intelligent automation, deep operational expertise, and a strong people‑first culture, we help ambitious businesses turn complexity into simplicity and gain a lasting competitive advantage.
We are now looking for a Solution Manager to strengthen our Automation team in Australia - a senior role for someone who is driven by understanding operations first and designing solutions that truly work.
This role operates as a solutions leadership position, carrying architectural, commercial, and cross‑functional responsibility from first customer insight to final proposal. At Element Logic, great commercial results come from great solutions, built on insight, collaboration, and trust.
You will lead the development of robust, data‑driven automation concepts that help our customers make confident, long‑term investment decisions.
Working closely with the Head of Automation, our global solution experts, and local sales and engineering teams, you will ensure that every proposal reflects real operational reality, not assumptions - and that every solution aligns with our promise of performance, reliability, and scalability.
Engage directly with customers to understand how their operations truly run - from order profiles and SKU velocity to labour models and peak variability
Lead structured operational analyses and sensitivity modelling to challenge assumptions and ensure resilient solutions
Facilitate discovery workshops that align stakeholders across operations, management, and executive leadership
Lead the development of conceptual automation architectures aligned to customer goals and validated operational insight
Translate data into system sizing, throughput logic, and ROI frameworks
Ensure solutions reflect the entire warehouse ecosystem - workflows, service levels, risks, and day‑to‑day operations
Guide design engineers across layouts, specifications, and system concepts covering Goods‑to‑Person, shuttle/ASRS, conveyor, and mobile robotics solutions
Partner closely with sales to define scope, clarify requirements, and shape competitive, solution‑led proposals
Safeguard the technical and analytical quality of all submissions - layouts, calculations, assumptions, and performance commitments
Develop and present ROI models, total cost of ownership, and executive‑level business cases
Lead RFP and RFI responses with clarity, credibility, and confidence
Build long‑term relationships with customer stakeholders from warehouse floor to boardroom
Act as the voice of the customer within Element Logic, feeding operational insight back into solution standards and strategy
Collaborate globally with Element Logic’s solution architects, data teams, and software specialists
You are someone who:
Thinks solutions first, always starting with the operational problem
Is analytically strong and comfortable challenging assumptions with data
Builds trust through humility, clarity, and technical credibility
Enjoys collaboration in a non‑hierarchical, international environment
Is genuinely passionate about logistics, automation, and performance improvement
Essential
7+ years’ experience in solution design, pre‑sales engineering, or technical consulting within warehouse automation or intralogistics
Strong understanding of warehouse operations and distribution workflows
Proven ability to analyse operational datasets and translate insight into system architecture and business cases
Experience developing integrated automation concepts across multiple technologies
Confidence presenting complex solutions to senior operational and executive stakeholders
Nice to have
Hands‑on exposure to Goods‑to‑Person, shuttle/ASRS, conveyor/sortation, or mobile robotics
Familiarity with WMS, WES, or WCS environments
Experience across industries such as retail, e‑commerce, 3PL, FMCG, pharma, or cold chain
