Solutions Engineer
ChainelsChainels, a Rotterdam-based company building the operating system for real estate and the urban spaces around it, is looking for a Solutions Engineer to join the integrations squad. The role leans into connecting client ERP systems to Chainels, migrating turnover histories, and delivering Claude-powered automations within sprint cycles. This is a hybrid position anchored at the Rotterdam headquarters, ideal for someone who enjoys shipping usable flows that are actually used by landlords and cities across Europe.
Chainels builds TenantOS to help property managers and landlords run shopping centres and residential buildings, while City Connect serves city managers, streets and business parks. The company is post-series A, trusted across 20+ countries, powering 1,000+ communities and 500,000+ users, with a goal of reaching €10M ARR. It’s an AI-native, Claude-first organization, and Claude is a daily tool for every team, with the platform’s AI layer built on MCP.
In this role you’ll be central to creating seamless, intelligent automations by tying Chainels to a broad set of third-party systems, ERP, CRM, smart building tech (like digital locks and energy meters) and AI agents. You’ll work closely with the Product Owner and the Integrations Marketplace from scoping to go-live. The tech stack features n8n Enterprise and Claude Code, among other tools, and you’ll operate from the Rotterdam HQ.
Connecting Chainels with client systems
You’ll design and run n8n workflows that link Chainels with ERP and CRM platforms, plus smart-building technologies and AI agents, to deliver end-to-end automations for clients. You’ll join client and vendor calls to scope integrations and capture requirements together with the Product Owner so the builds meet real needs.
As you move live integrations into production, you’ll refine flows and debug issues to keep everything humming. You’ll be part of an integrations team of five within the engineering department, contributing to a steady stream of improvements and support when needed.

Nice-to-haves
Hands-on experience with Claude Code or other LLM-based tooling
Pay, benefits and practical details
The role comes with a competitive salary and benefits package, including a modern pension plan.

You’ll receive a company laptop and 25 days of annual leave, plus complimentary lunch and snacks at the office.
The team also enjoys outings, vrijmibo, and trips together.
Eligible applicants are based in the EU; Chainels is not currently hiring people who live outside the EU.
Advice for applicants
Lead your resume with the concrete automation work you’ve delivered, and put the strongest example of an integration you built that touched ERP or similar core systems at the top.
Show you can prove the must-haves by sharing a concise case study or project notes that highlight API work, data mapping, and scripting, and point to any hands-on experiences with n8n or Claude Code in real customer scenarios.
In interviews, be prepared to describe how you scoped an integration with a Product Owner and conducted client or vendor calls to gather requirements, then walk through how you kept a live flow healthy in production.
Ask a thoughtful question about how the Integrations Marketplace influences what gets built, and how Claude Code is used to drive real-world workflows today, plus what success looks like in the first 90 days on the team.
