Royal London is hiring a permanent Sonata Application Support Analyst for a hybrid 50/50 role based in Edinburgh, Glasgow or Alderley Park. You’ll be the entry point for the Sonata team, triaging incidents, resolving within SLAs, managing problem records, and driving continuous improvement to reduce incident volumes. You’ll perform daily health checks, monitor tooling, and collaborate with technology, delivery teams and vendors to keep Sonata stable and scalable. Essential skills include SQL, familiarity with the Sonata data model, ability to diagnose issues, and a continuous improvement mindset. The Sonata Application Support Analyst provides specialist incident and problem management support. The role involves being the initial entry point to the Sonata team by triaging and resolving incident and advising on requirements for continuous improvement i.e. to reduce incident volumes. The Sonata Application Support Analyst works closely with the wider Sonata team, wider technology teams, business stakeholders, delivery teams, and external vendors to ensure Sonata remains stable, scalable, and fit for purpose.
