CERN is seeking a Spatial Planning Specialist for the FCC Project in Geneva, onsite, to lead territorial planning and synergies, coordinating cross-functional groups on surface site planning, development projects and local stakeholder engagement while ensuring the project is well integrated and broadly supported. You will build relationships with authorities and residents, identify territorial opportunities and contribute to governance and monitoring with consolidated reports and dashboards. Ideal candidates hold a Master’s degree or equivalent in Spatial Planning, Urban Planning, Geography or Political Science and have proven experience in major infrastructure planning, cross-border or multi-institutional work, and multi-stakeholder processes with knowledge of planning policies in France or Switzerland and fluency in English and French. Introduction
Reporting directly to the Territorial Integration Pillar Coordinator of the FCC Project, you will be responsible for the territorial planning and territorial synergies aspects of the project. You will lead the operational coordination of thematic working groups covering surface site planning, associated development projects and synergies with local territorial initiatives. In this role, you will contribute directly to the objective of delivering an FCC project that is well integrated into its host territories, sustainable and broadly supported by local stakeholders.
