SIMPEC is hiring experienced Special Class Welders to join the Alkimos Desalination Plant Project in the Perth metro area. This is a 12+ month, on site, Monday to Friday roster with some Saturday work during critical phases, part of a AU$2.8 billion project delivering WA's future water security. They emphasize a collaborative, people-first culture and safety. To succeed, you should hold Australian Recognised Trade Certificate, High Risk Work WP, Working at Heights within 2 years, Fire Extinguisher Training, Construction Card, Valid Driver’s Licence, and Australian Work Rights; pass pre-employment medical and drug/alcohol screen; pass weld test; bring Construction/Mining experience. About the Project
SIMPEC has been awarded the structural, mechanical, piping, electrical and instrumentation works for the Alkimos Desalination Plant Project.
Be part of this major AU$2.8 billion project, delivering critical infrastructure to strengthen Western Australia's future water security. The new desalination plant will supply drinking water to millions of Western Australians and connect to Perth's water network via a 33.5 km underground pipeline between Alkimos and Wanneroo.
